Community Restaurant is a project that hit (literally) close to home. Located just a few miles from our office, Community has been a staple in the Zeeland, MI area for decades. The restaurant sadly burned to the ground in 2022, and the building was deemed a total loss. The owners decided to reopen the restaurant after an outpouring of public support, and West Michigan Food Equipment was brought in to help. We designed and installed all new equipment for Community’s newly reconstructed kitchen, including new exhaust hoods, walk-in coolers, and a custom drop-in salad bar with sneeze guards. We even supplied the new furniture for the dining area. Now, Community is back to serving the city of Zeeland delicious homestyle food in a brand new space.
